From Paris cocktail & restaurant scene to Taghazout Main Street.
Keltoum & Matthew both worked in renowned bars and restaurants in Paris, as their love of hospitality with great food and drinks brought them closer over the years – meanwhile, their lifestyle shifted towards veganism, for it to become an integral part of their common project : to open a vegan place in Morocco.
They envisioned a café style restaurant that would put homemade food forward, while allowing them to provide the kind of warm hospitality both enjoy in their favourite places.
They are convinced you can enjoy everything that makes a great meal without relying on animal products ; so after learning specialty coffee and training alongside talented chefs, their hearts were set on opening in Taghazout, blessed by stunning landscapes and a flourishing and laid- back surf culture.
So after years in the making (with no help from the pandemic !) Red Clay opened its terrace for the first time in July 2022, and has kept many tummies very happy since!
